As a trained and skilled butcher, Carl has been in the industry for over 45 years and furthered Piggott’s success by opening three high street shops across Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire over the last 30 years.

Today, we continue to trade in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, with a team of trained and experienced butchers. 

In response to consumer trends, Piggott’s now provides an online service via delivery and click and collect to complement the retail trade. 
We're passionate about quality, providing great value for money, and advising you on the ideal cuts of meat to make your meals the best they can be. With our highly skilled service selling locally sourced meat, we believe traditional customer service and values never go out of fashion.

As a family business, we have a wealth of experience and skills in traditional butchery. We have customers at the heart of everything we do and work hard to source and provide our customers fresh and importantly local quality meat at the highest standard and affordable prices. 
Whether you’re after just a couple of chicken breasts for that new recipe you’ve seen online, some of our fantastic bacon (or our own Biggleswade -lend sausages!) for that Saturday morning big breakfast, or something special for your Sunday roast, we’re here to help.
